Calm mornings help calm the mind. I have had to work on controlling my thoughts. Like so many of you when the crisis hits our minds spin the situation over and over. What we can say, what should we have said, how we could have changed this future we did not want. But God says to take our thoughts captive. It is habit I have to work on. When training for @fiftytwo4 I didn’t run 13 miles the first time out. No I trained mile by mile, little increase by little increase. That is what I will do with my mind. When I find myself hyper focused on the crisis and not on the Lord I will blast praise and worship music. I will be productive while listening to the Bible or a podcast. Then it will be easier to hear God’s still small voice.
